Are Your Chiropractic Staff on Health Programs?

cobbler's children have no shoes

There is the old proverb, you may recall, about the cobbler's children who had no shoes. One source says it comes from a book of proverbs from 1546. There are many variations of this phenomenon. Here are a couple:

a) A laundromat where the employees all wore dirty clothes.

b) A car repair shop whose mechanics all drive poorly maintained cars.

Over the last few months, several offices we work with had staff members getting sick and missing work. Absent staff or ill staff can be costly.

There is another old proverb: "An ounce of prevention is a pound of cure."

In your office, health should be a hobby. It should be a core value that everyone aspires towards. Health is not just a mission or a business. It should be like a fun quest --"how can I get healthier?"

Unfortunately, I often find that staff are not on health programs or are not as educated on health as they could be.

Your team should be the healthiest and fittest group in town, with magnificent immune systems. Add in some natural old-school remedies that kill viruses now and then, and you and your team should glow with health even during the "flu" season.

There is a larger point here.

I know everyone's attention is on taking care of patients. Of course. We work in the business. But we also have to work ON the business, and that means working on ourselves.

Your team wants to improve, just like your patients. Beyond their health program, your employees should be on a training program to enhance their skills and understanding of your services.

A practice manager can help. A trained and motivated manager can assist you in improving your people and your practice.

And if you have somebody you'd like to have trained as your manager, please sign up on our waitlist below, and I'll send you information about our upcoming program soon. It starts on March 31.

For now, start your team off every morning with planks, Vitamin D, and a green drink! And maybe dance a little.

Take care of your people, including yourself, and stay Goal Driven.

PS. MBA 2025. Our next MBA program will begin March 31st. We only take a limited number of students, so if you are interested, please get on our wait list today.
